Annual Meeting
Meeting called to order at 6:28 PM
Board members in attendance as follows:
Ron Jones- President, Gerry Simmons- Range Master, Cindy Sacry – Secretary, Mike Sacry- Vice President
Pres: Minutes from last month were approved.
The current treasure report was given by Gerry Simmons. Ross Lincoln said that we need an annual financial report for last year as our requirements. Cindy provided the finance report for last year. Both reports were approved.
Gerry brought up the Friends of the NRA. The grants process opens in August- October. Grants range from $10,000.00 or less. We will have to apply next year since it is too late to submit this year. The grant will not reimburse us for work already done.
Update on new range: We have a bid for rock to be laid around the parking lot and on the driveway and up on top and rock on the edge of the driveway for $12,000.00. They would like to do this in mid-July. The committee members for this project are Wayne Woodcock, Bill Pitman, Len Thompson, Ron Jones, and Gerry Simmons. The groundwork needs to be finished and we need to purchase a shed for cover.
Old Business: Cher Fillman still has our paperwork. Gerry said that he would contact her so he could get the paperwork.
Fun Shoot: Wayne Woodcock will have to reschedule.
Ron fixed the lawn mower. It works now. Thank you, Ron!
Gerry said that he would not be available from July 5th until the 26th.
We wanted to thank Don White for the meatballs and Sharon Jones for the German Chocolate cake. Thank you to all who participated. We would also like to thank our cooks Richard Winders, Gerry Simmons, Rick Rowland, and Ron Jones for the spaghetti Dinner and garlic bread.
Silhouette– had 8-9 people showed up.
Muzzleloader – there were some people who came out.
NRL Shoot- Darrell Ryan (Skip) oversaw this shoot since Wayne was unavailable.
Military Shoot– They had fun.
Elections Results: Ron Jones- President, Bill Pitman- Vice-President, Gerry Simmons-Range Master, Melanie Simmons- Treasure, Cindy Sacry- Secretary, Aileen Cork- Historian. The new bylaws failed to pass.
