General Meeting  

Meeting called to order at 7:29 PM

Board members in attendance as follows:

Ron Jones- President, Bill Pitman- Vice President, Gerry Simmons- Range Master, Mike Simmons– Secretary, Melanie Simmons – Treasurer.  6 Members and  5 Board Members.

Pres: Minutes from last month were approved.

Treasure: Treasurer Report Was Read and approved.

Pres:  Thank you to the members for all your hard work.

VP:  Work party coming up this month…

Shelter Work, Sink hole, Cliff behind indoor range

 Look into hiring a mini-backhoe, Gerry is taking care of contacting contractors and bringing gravel fill.

Gerry:  Range Duty still needs to be filled.  Jan 24, 25 covered.   Need coverage for Jan 10, 11

 A single shot .22 was found in the outdoor range.  The owner has been identified and will be returned to the owner.

NEW BUSINESS

As you may have known, Arnold Cork (a 65 year member) passed last year and Aileen will be liquidating her husband Arnold’s collection.  Sales will be done through President Ron Jones and Guns and Boots and Gear in Astoria under the bridge.

We have a couple of members looking to start a 4H Shooting team.  Planning for Fall of this year. 

Silhouette- Lately we have been having a lot of participation in the Silhouette so we have been doing at least 2 strings of shooters.  Remember that the first relay needs to stick around till after the second relay is done in order to help clean up.  

Open Pistol Shoot:  5 shooters all the time. 

Black Powder Shoot:  Went well

Military Shoot– Canceled last month

NRL shoot-.  12 Shooters last Saturday.  Went well.
