General Meeting  

Meeting called to order at 7:32 PM

Board members in attendance as follows:

Ron Jones- President, Bill Pitman- Vice President, Gerry Simmons- Range Master, Mike Simmons– Secretary, Melanie Simmons- Treasurer.  1 Member.

Pres: Minutes from last month were approved.

Pres:  Thanks to Bill for installation of backer boards.

Treasure: Melanie read the treasure report. 

Sec:  Currently working on finishing up the NRA Grant for 2025.  Need to get a status for the 2024 Grant for the next meeting.

Gerry-. Thank you all who came out to support the range duty for the 2025 sight in days (9/21-9/28).  6-7 participants on Friday, in total about 25-30 participants were able to sight in during this time.  Some of these non-members became members as a result.  Great job everyone for making this a success!!

New Business:  

Safety fair coming up on Saturday 10/4 at the Clatskanie middle highschool from 10am-2pm.  We will be holding a table there with safety information.

Oktoberfest shoot October 18th Potluck to follow.

Beginner handgun training course coming soon.  Interested persons contact Gerry Simmons for info.

Silhouette- per Bill Pitman they had 5-6 members this week and they had fun.

Open Pistol Shoot:  No Report.

Black Powder Shoot:  No report

Military Shoot– 2 people came for the military shoot but it was still fun!
