The Clatskanie Rifle and Pistol Club (CR&PC) was founded in 1944 as a community shooting range in a cow field. We were incorporated in 1948. The first club house and range was in town. The Club is a private club owned by our members, tho many, many members of the community have helped built what you see today. We work to keep the range opened to the public on the 2nd and 4th weekend of the month from 10 AM to 2 PM.  It is free, we do not supply targets. Everyone on the range must have eye and ear protection. (Please check our calendar for any changes.)  We encourage our members to attend all club functions.

We do allow organizations and groups the rental of our range, like Hunter Safety Education, Special National Rifle League, the National Guard, and Police Departments.

The Outdoor rifle range is 15, 25, 50, 100, 200 yards. Shot guns may be used on the pistol range they must hit the dirt bank not the grass. The outdoor pistol bays are currently under construction. The Indoor range is 50 ft. The calibers for “Pistols” any caliber except magnum loads. “Rifles” only 22 long rifle.

No metal, glass or aerial targets are allowed!

Safety is our policy, ear and eye protection is required for participants and spectators during shoots and Range Rules are posted to be followed. Member orientation required within 30 days of joining. Please contact Gerry Simmons (Range Master) for orientation.

GOOD NEWS! The new Pistol Range is now available for use. You may drive up to the range but not on to the range.  You will need to bring targets and target stand.
